Together we grow - Team building 2018
“Together we grow” is the teambuilding 2018’s theme organised by Quoc Huy Anh Corp on the occasion of 15th anniversary of APOLLO Silicone, which took place from August 24 to 26 for all employees from factories Vinh Loc, Hung Yen, Vung Tau and Cat Ba.

In particular, The Amazing Race game was exclusively designed for office employees from North, Middle and South sides, the game took place in Da Nang as a new breeze that is distinguished from other team building activities to motivate and excite the employees to join. The new game created spaces for employees to use their creativity, build trust and enhance the teamwork spirit. As a matter of fact, the game helped each member discover their hidden potentials, broke the ice and changed their self-perception, which led them to complete themselves to contribute to the common development of the company.

Office employees from three sides were divided into five teams. Each team elected one leader and assigned tasks to each member to jointly create the unique identity for each team and participated in activities together during the trip.

Team no.2 “The Avengers” with the slogan “Born to shine”
Team no.3 “The player” with the slogan “Fight until our last breathe”
Team no.4 connected with each other through the mantra: “Connecting hearts”
Team no.5 with the slogan: “Play to win, regardless of the burning sun”

After the warm-up under the energetic monitor of the admin, five teams received the handbook that helped them overcome challenges from The Amazing Race games. Each team had one member from the “Angel team” to support during the journey including: What to do, what to get, pictures to take, clip to shoot, understanding ourselves and the opponent and working together to finish.
What to do: The challenges created to help each person develop their abilities to handle tasks and share the philanthropy for unfortunate people.
With only 30.000đ, each team managed to buy 5 specialities of Da Nang.
What to get: The challenge helped each person realise the value of mother earth and increase the awareness of protecting the environment, reusing recycled products. This is also what the construction aimed for: using green and environmental-friendly materials for buildings.

Photo to take & Clip to shoot: The challenge was the opportunity to improve their photography skill and build content through what they take and shoot.
The challenge required members to take photos and shoot videos of the beautiful landscape in Da Nang.
Understanding ourselves and the opponent: The challenge helped teams better understand, enhance their knowledge of the Central coast area of Vietnam, the home of landscapes, historical relics, intangible culture recognised the Unesco, in addition to the latest information updated for new members.
Working together to finish:The last challenge sent the message of engagement. As long as each member engages and works towards the common goal of the team, all members can reach success.
Each team will enter the centre of the circle in return and create a very strong circle by hand. The other team chose the strongest and fastest member to come in and break the circle of the opponent.
The victory called the name of team no.3 “The Player”, the 1st runner-up was “The Avengers” - team no.2. The 2nd runner-up was team no.5. Other prizes were team no.1 and team no.4. The Gala and Award party took place in King Palace right after the game.
The team building activity ended with a Gala Dinner summarising the company’s activities in the first 6 months of the year and the QHA X-Factor 2018 contest between departments that uplifted everyone’s emotions, they were led from one surprise to another through impressive contesting performances.

The team building 2018 took place in Cat Ba, Vung Tau and Da Nang ended with lots of mixed emotions and regrets after days living and playing together and participation office members from three sides. Despite the game ending, the spirits still lasted, Quoc Huy Anh Corp hoped all members would still promote the game’s spirits in daily life. According to one member: ““Meeting each other is the beginning. Keeping each other is progress and working with each other is success” - Henry Ford. The “Together we grow” team building 2018 has changed me. 2018 is also the innovation year of Quoc Huy Anh, so the organisers changed the destination, timeline and games to bring new and excitement to all members. Therefore, members can ultilise their mind power to overcome challenges. Team building is also the message from the BOD to employees: All members have to constantly improve, complete themselves and strive to be better in daily life. Conquering challenges is the very unforgettable moment of all members who joined in the team building. Employees from three sides united to create the beautiful shade in the Da Nang sky that blew up the atmosphere and burned all members with the excitement of the game and energetic spirits of participants from August 24-26.
At Da Nang, the whole crew were free to play and be creative regardless of how hard challenges are and the very hot temperature of the Middle side city. Those obstacles could not stop the determination and willingness to break boundaries to reach the goals participants. The organisers and all members would like to thank our leader for creating such meaningful playgrounds for us to play, to learn and to grow. We take pride of what we did and achieved in the trip, above all are the memories of solidarity, commitments and dedication to: “Upgrading to a new level/ Proudly singing the name Quoc Huy Anh in our heart/ Together we grow/Proudly singing the name Quoc Huy Anh in our heart””
